Welcome Lani!

We have an exciting announcement to share. Tangleroot Farm is hiring, and we could use your help to spread the word! Employment at Tangleroot Farm is the perfect opportunity for a hardworking individual who is interested in learning the ins and outs of intensive market vegetable gardening. We are an open book when it comes to the growing and business side of Tangleroot, and we pride ourselves on cultivating the farm-related interests of our employees as skillfully as we cultivate our fields. In short, the position is for seasonal farm work with an immediate start date. This role provides an opportunity to grow in the beautiful Champlain Valley, and to join a talented team that is passionate about their work and takes pride in their output. We are a human-powered farm, which means that we do not use tractors or any other large machinery. We work at an efficient pace, but take time to train our employees and do our best to foster an inclusive farm culture. We are proud of our minimal till, sustainable, organic practices, and are certified organic by the USDA. Working for Tangleroot Farm gives every employee a holistic understanding of how the farm operates from greenhouse to market.

If you know someone who would be a great fit for this important roll. Please have them reach out to and we will be happy to discuss the position in more detail.

In other news, we cleared and prepped a new field last week, which will be dedicated to melons grown on trellis, cauliflower and kale.  Also, cabbage, baby leeks, kohlrabi and beets went in the ground, so allow yourself to start dreaming up the culinary magic you will create with these hearty delights. Most importantly…Ben adopted a pup! We are so excited to welcome Lani (pictured with Ben above) to the Tangleroot family!
